Super Cosmo to the Rescue!!!

I have a new alter-ego... Super Cosmo! I'm faster than a speeding insect... able to leap tall coffee tables in a single bound. Basically, I'm responsible for things running smoothly at home. I keep mom and dad in line. One false move and it's a quick bite on the ankles to show them right from wrong. It's not easy being the protector of the family but I take my job seriously. And I must be effective... so far everything is running pretty smoothly. Scary to think what I could accomplish if I had opposable thumbs.

MMMOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!

Well, it's happened again. Mom is not here tonight. I can't believe it. We had such a great weekend... Mom and Dad signed a contract on a new house and she was so excited. It seemed like everything was so happy but then tonight came and no Mom. I've looked for her everywhere! I've been lying here interrogating Dad but he keeps saying stuff like "business trip, blah, blah, blah.." "tomorrow night, blah, blah, blah..." Bottom line is, she's not here. I don't like it when Mom or Dad are not here!!! I'll keep staring Dad down and get the full story from him. He probably said or did something stupid... perhaps if he buys her a new collar she'd come home. Maybe I'll suggest that to him.

Sleep Away Camp???

Mom and Dad told me that they're going to send me to sleep away camp this summer for a week. It's at a place called Pete and Mac's and they seem to think it will be a lot of fun. Dad says they do spa treatments for cat's there. I can get a seaweed wrap, a facial and sit in a hot tub... the hot tub would be ok if it didn't have water in it... I prefer my tubs empty. I looked them up on the web and it looks ok. Apparently they have camp for dogs too but they don't get to play with the cats. I wonder if Moose's mom will send her to sleep away camp too. I sure hope I don't get home sick.

Everyone's On the Road!!!

Mom and Dad have both been travelling a lot lately - both together and separately. I make sure I inspect their luggage before they leave to make sure that they don't forget anything. I tried to sneak into the bag when Mom went to Chicago but she found me. Maybe next time I'll make it undetected! Bet that would shock the heck out of the TSA Inspectors!!!

Mom has been kind of sickly lately so when she's asleep I make sure I'm close by to protect her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

May 15th was my first birthday!!! It was great! Dad made me a cake out of lox - my favorite! And I got presents and Mom and Dad sang to me.... it was sooo cool!!! I think I should have a birthday everyday!!! I got a new toy that is a bag I can play in that has catnip in the lining... really neat! I also got a package of salmon flavored Greenies! I LOVE GREENIES!!!
